RIDE DETAILS:
On May 22, 2023 Edwin Munoz and Keith Murphy will be the first adaptive athletes to take on this 1000+ mile route from Dallas Texas to Denver Colorado...on hand cycles! The ride will consist of hand cycling 30 - 50 miles daily until reaching their destination. The entire ride is estimated to last between 20 and 30 days, will total 1,021 miles and will reach elevation gains of 29,000+ feet!
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
There are multiple goals we hope to accomplish with this ride. Our financial goal is to raise $100 per mile traveled which would equal to $100,000 for the foundation. More importantly, we hope to reach and inspire everyone in their journey regardless of ability. To provide hope to those living with paralysis and prove that life can still be lived to the absolute fullest!
